The reason that Koreans win all the games in StarCraft II competition

In the biggest game competition, called WCS StarCraft II, Koreans take the first, the second, and the third place. Issac Won(startale) holds the first place, Hyunwoo Jang(prime) the second place, and Yunjong Jung(SKT T1) the third place. Many Koreans are generally good at games; especially there is no one to win over the Koreans.

Since the boom in StarCraft I, the number of internet café, which is called “PC club”, and the demand of StarCraft games have been dramatically increased. Actually the number of PC clubs is increased by the increased demand. If there were 50 computers in one PC club, then 40 computers would be occupied for the StarCraft game.

The popularity continues over 10 years, and the demand has been extended to be monitored in TV programs. There were 2 game channels.

Trivia: Koreans becomes good at other games since StarCraft. As the number of PC clubs is increased, other games could be also played, developing their capability for the games.
